Well, aside from Betty's line not being translated quite right, I have to say this is probably one of my favorites so far. Most doujins don't go with Rem's more manipulative side, and I like how she's got a more mature face than most artists give her.

The Re:Zero anime is based on a Light Novel, and every single time our friend Subaru dies, he gets a global reset that puts him back at some (to him) random save point. There was a time when the global reset happened while he was *asleep*. To Subaru, he wakes up... and everyone now has forgotten everything since that save point, while he remembers the day(s) gone by. I presume illegalcheese was simply referring to the fact that after something /nice/ happened to Subaru, for once, he doesn't actually die and get it reset before it happened.
