Thou shall not be so "lazy" as to fail to translate easy titles to the point where the translation does not match the original either literally or in essence.

The ド is not connected to リー, ドS means "very S", and in general ド- whatever can mean something similar.

I don't know where you got "being made into a S Teacher". 握られた means that the 秘密 is known by the ドS教師 with the connotation that he is exploiting it or is able to exploit it somehow.

Maybe you were so lazy that you went back in time and decided not to know what some words mean. I'm trying to find the upload button because I don't remember if you're required to give a title when uploading.

EDIT2: I checked and a title is required. I think I've been unfair about complaining about your titles, since the core of my complaints have been that you didn't already know some words or eroisms (at least, that is what lead to this mistranslation).

@notfaggot Why don't you just petition to rename it or show you can correct it with a full sentence instead of sperging out and pontificating in an post about how a throwaway guess for a title I skimmed and wrote in a few seconds is wrong? I generally trust dictionaries when I care to learn, but I don't trust strangers, I don't trust your intentions, and my initial impression is you're crazy. @sensualoi I'm sorry, I did have the rename petition window open but I went to do something else and forgot. Also I don't see what being a better uploader than me has anything to do with how I complain about your titles, or why criticizing your titles is a substantial insult to you as an uploader when it is such a minor part of uploading a gallery.

I've seen you (at least it was one of your galleries, so I think it was you) take the approach of just transliterating the title. Why not here, or any other time that you are lazy? You could also have used a placeholder title indicating which parts of the title are untranslated. In any case, I think a misleadingly wrong title is worse than no title.

I could explain that most gallery names are temporary until the romanji fans rewrite everything, and I prefer translations over esoteric romanji when there's little chance of a scanlation, but I don't see a reason to bother. Accusing me of being lazy while you've apparently uploaded nothing and fixed very little doesn't bode well, and you're only going to air more dumb opinions until you become heavily involved with the process here.

Aren't you the one who said you were doing a lazy title translation? Anyway, my original use of "lazy" was meant to be sarcastic, with the first use having scare quotes and the second saying something absurd. Maybe I am too much of a sperg to communicate with you through sarcasm?

What I meant to imply is that you are bad at translating, but I realize now that I was being dumb since you aren't actually a translator. I don't mean that as an insult or anything, I really did assume you did translations occasionally on top of uploading galleries, so please correct me if you actually are a translator.

So I take back all personal criticisms I made of you, since they were directed at you as a translator, not as an uploader. I'm sorry for wasting your time with these arguments.

I still think that mistranslated titles are worse for readers than untranslated (transliterated) titles, regardless of which you prefer, since it will lead to the wrong idea about the work rather than no idea. But I agree that English titles are better than romaji titles, since you can always set your settings to display native names anyway, and the gallery page displays both names too, meaning that there isn't any risk of losing the original title. I don't think it matters that much whether you get a nice title in anymore, though, since people will come in and petition a new name soon enough anyway, as you mentioned.

You don't know the character of the target for your aggression very well; I have humbly asked to be called out on bad translations which unfortunately doesn't happen nearly enough, and revised certain old releases for no real personal gain. Your explanation was shit though, and you need to get over yourself because your unsound emotions are clouding your language kid. I have no reason to waste time lending my ear to ranting ingrates of questionable intelligence and doubtful credibility in case there is some tiny kernal of truth in the vitrol. Fundamentally, you're still sperging over a trivial title translation, (an expedient approximation in the abscense of any reliable volunteers), which has already been renamed after a few hours just as I predicted with my experience. It's a pity that OCD, IED, and retardation can never be cured, and your providing parents must put up with your ungracious rants and wild breaks from pragmatic thought when there's so much work to be done.
