It's annoying when artists say they 'need money to finish something'. I understand you want to be compensated for the time and effort you put into your work, and I support that. Capitalism, baby. But don't try and sell to me that you physically require money to draw. You can draw without it, you just choose not to. You still draw in your free time, and you drew before you made money on it. Semantics Nazi, I know.

Harakudoshi, I believe I asked for help, if we are going to argue semantics. This implies I do not as you said require money to complete the drawing. I need money for housing, food, electricity so on so forth, every hours spent getting said money is time I can not spend creating content. This is a nuance I hope you can understand. I get your point but it's not about remuneration for content I already created (on borrowed time) but to enable me to continue creating at a decent pace. In all honesty I've long given up trying to get donations and would much rather be paid for commissioned work. But I also found that said commissioned works often do not apeal to most people. In short, I am not pretending I "need" money to complete something but rather that money would "help". Hopefully I do not sound like a rambling idiot, just wanted to acknowledge your complain.

The implication being you physically require money to be able to finish the work. As if you need currency for your hands to work. I am not criticising you asking for people to pay for your work, as I mentioned in my first post. I am critising your WORD CHOICE. I know what you meant, and I'm sure the vast majority of others viewing it did as well. I'm simply being anal about grammar.

Of course, without anybody buying their products, people would still go on with their works but on a slower pace. As long they have fun doing so, it is. I think it's great that the artist acknowledged this site and chose to upload (some of) the works, even if it's ment for advertisement. There are works which were done only because somebody commissioned it and put to a hold till some more money had been paid but there is no need to voice your anger towards somebody who had not done anything wrong yet.
