I like Wagner's art atyle, but he failed to capture the character completely and utterly. We all know Mandy wouldn't have tolerated that.

Kuehnau makes a fair point, though. I mean, suspension of disbelief is an important part of immersion, and while I deeply, truly impressed by wagner's skills as an illustrator, they might as well be completely different characters with the motifs representing billy and Mandy just superimposed into them. If the characters don't behave like they should, and they don't even look like they should, really, then why use them at all?
