The producer and photographer didn't seem to try to get his actress to smile or open up to the camera. She does smile in some, but most of the time she's got that mean look on her face which is OOC (out of char) for Hatsune Miku. Maybe she's annoyed at how the photoshoot is going.

The photographer (and producer) are supposed to be in control of the lighting. They opened the windows for more light, but it was too bright. So they were forced to balance it by having bright indoor lights. And they use must have used bright daylight LED light arrays at 6500K or thereabouts because even the wall seems harshly lit. What they should have done was put some sort of light screen outside the window to reduce the light. That would have then allowed them to both keep the window open AND reduce the amount of indoor lighting. Not only would the reduction in blue be lessened on Miku's green clothing highlights, but the shadows would be less too.

And that brings up Shadows! What kind of professional photographer has these kinds of multiple shadows in the picture? There's shadows from the lights. There's shadow from the window which is too bright. And then there's shadow from the flash fill. The purpose of proper lighting is to eliminate flash fill to get that beautiful warm glow of the face while the costume can still have a cool or not-warm color. Flash fill sort of defeats that. But I guess the photographer and producer were in a rush to get the photoshoot over with.
