It's a very nice and well drawn story but what me really bugs is the pose of judy while mourning her brothers on the tree. This theatralic fist clenching and ground punching is way too cheesy, could be from a cheap anime like Naruto, and neither fits in the story nor does it fits her character.

And correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt branches normally float on water? even big ones oder whole trees?

@Andrastos Based on how the tree was drawn, I would say that the tree is an oak. And oak being density of 0.6 to 0.9, it means that that log either broke laws of physics or it had died and accumulated extra weight somehow. But under any normal circumstances, that branch or even whole tree would have floated on top of the water, provided there was enough depth.

Or we can just agree that it either had cartoon physics going on or just heart of gold for the story.

Went to see what happened with this comic, apparently some piece of shit was stealing this guy's art and selling it, including this comic. Artist put it on indefinite hold til they can get their life together after barely reclaiming what was stolen.
