Well someone sure is mad and is obviously compensating for something, that downvote spree was two comments under another doujinshi, because I found them to be retarded. And true, had I know my comment would unleash such a giant pile of feces under a good contribution, I'd have probably kept my mouth shut. I'm both a quality whore and a nitpicker but a nicely cleaned up scan at 2128 x 3034 resolution, even I find it a bit hard to bitch and moan at the scanner to provide a higher resolution. Some scanners might even share the original raw, if you message them and give them a good reason. A x3000 px scan is already four times the size of a x1500px scan, so I'd say that's a pretty significant increase and as for future proofing, even printed material source has limits, there's also a point of diminishing returns.
