The dialogue is so rigid and lacking in nuance, that I have to read a majority of the bubbles more than once to get a proper grasp of what's trying to be stated.

Perhaps your problem is that you're trying to translate everything directly, and verbatim. This is impossible to pull off. There needs to be some degree of word and phrase-tweaking to make the text sound natural.

@pariah01: If I would translate everything directly and every single word one-to-one, you won't even understand one sentence. I can understand your problem though, because I am not very happy with the dialogues myself - like I stated in my first comment, the translation this time was very hard. Especially because the Japanese original dialogues is this way.
Also I am aware of re-phrasing and I did my best to do so without letting the sentences getting completely off the original. I had to put in completely different words to get the meaning right in some places.
I am not sure, how far I can go with those re-phrasing though, because if I do so, this would not be the authors work anymore.

I really appreciate your input though and I will consider your critic in my next translation. There is always room to improve, right? ;-)
