That's not true at all. If you look at the last page of the original raw (https://e-hentai.org/s/a00f48e4a4/893809-213), it says that it will be continued. The last page of the censored/first English translation (https://e-hentai.org/s/e9c9bf4d94/894198-19) makes it even more clear with the translation of the note that's just above that which says "Next volume, the real fun begins with a wave of hypnotic commands!"

While the way you phrased that was pretty douchey, yes. This manga establishes that hypnotism can only make the subject do things that they would ordinarily be willing to do.

What we can take away from this is that the girl had been harboring a secret crush on the boy, but was more concerned about keeping up appearances than acting on her actual desires. This hypnotism role-play gave her the perfect excuse to act on her lust, while still keeping a certain level of plausible deniability.

I do hope the next parts reinforce this subtext. For instance, showing that her boyfriend is something like an asshole jock, and that she only stays with him because that's the sort of boyfriend a popular girl like her should have.

EDIT: Well, shit. I just saw the continuation, and it turned out to be an absolute disappointment. Just another stereotypical mind control story.

This is almost, ALMOST really amazing, but there's just too much of her just being hypnotized straight into loving him. Even whenf he turns that off a couple times, it still takes up half the book and is so, so, SO much less fun then messing with her true self.
