just personal preference,I liked him best on the middle frame of Page 4. I'm not against 'blonde bimbo transformations', but the proportions look 'perfect' to me there.

Rare candy was always suppose to level up a Pokemon but I don't know can't remember if it evolve them usually that happen after a battle they evolve at a certain level, now knowing Ash has been battling with his Pokemon for some time now in the show so as for exp. points goes+ eating Rare Candy I guess it was only a matter of time for him to evolve into an adult one way or the other.

Agree about the clothing change thing. And Ultima Dragon, I've had Pokemon evolve from rare candy before.
