@Sangera: Bussaca's on FA. Just google him. This whole thing was a commission by a writer who's supposedly going to do a full story on it at some point too.

Agree on the ending though. Bussaca does some great sinister rapey stuff, but in this case the mind-break/training didn't really land with the impact it should have. Kate kind of becomes a non-character after page 4, and since sadism depends on the reactions of the victim, it's hard to keep it going when the reactions are so bland. Still, not a bad series.

Well part of the reason Kate started acting like that is how long she's been there. Don't forget that the first 5 pages are day 1 the next 2 are somewhere in the next couple weeks. page 8 is maybe 6 months. page 9 is 10 months and page 10 is 15 years or so.

at a certain point raging and struggling will die down and be replaced with her just trying to deal with it till she can escape somehow. in page 10 its her son there. and daughters in the back. she loves her kids but isn't delusional about their futures so she's just being honest and realistic about whats probably going to happen.
