@cf94eb4a75b The artist is the one that published this digital tankoubon on DLSite. Therefore, they wanted to release it before it's publication date. Therefore, it's not a douche move. In fact, it'll most likely end up getting more people to buy it in the long run.
@SCSS Files are not bloated. Original .zip file was a .dlst file, which after getting the files out of, was about 50MB off of what I released. I just resaved the color pages, and a few of the black and white pages, which resulted in the difference.

@cf94eb4a75b People release stuff before the publication date all the time. Just because I chose to do this for this doesn't mean that it was a douche move. In fact, there are people that release stuff over a month before the original publication date. The fact that you seem to have some sort of vendetta about this tankoubon that I decided to upload is clear. Besides, if I didn't upload it myself, someone else would have, so your argument is pretty pointless anyways. People will keep doing it, and comments like the one you left really won't do anything to stop people from doing it.

You think that people should wait until a month after the publication date? Then you'll have to leave comments like the one you left on every C88 doujinshi that has been uploaded to this site so far. That's just absurd.

You need to corroborate this fact, because I don't think so.
You think people who have little disposable income will spend money on stuff they have read? Plus this format is better than whatever dlsite/dmm's trying to sell.

Just give it at least a month after publication date... It's not going to hurt anyone, but it'll hurt the artist less.

It's just you decided to indicate the publication date like some sort of trophy ticked me off.

I know. Well, I can count the ones who upload digital tankoubons on my fingers, so since you're doing some majority of it, I just want to share my points to you so maybe you can consider it somewhat when uploading, hopefully.

Tankoubons are different than doujinshi, doujinshi are self published and normally produced in small amounts. That and tankoubons take a lot more work than an average doujinshi (200p, editing, contracting, promotion, etc) and they have smaller profit margin. Doujinshi is less about profit but more about promoting oneself. Doujinshi is a hobby, tankoubon is a job.
If tankoubon can't sell artists won't get an income you know, they are not living on wages, they are living on sales.

Just want to keep the average H-mangaka in business.

There is simply no point on keeping the black and white images at 24bit. Changing it to 256bit, 8bit grayscale keeps the quality at 100% with way lower filesize.

Fixed actual quality (208pages @8bit grayscale without any kind of reduced color optimization) + 24bit color PNG:
