Gonna have to agree with Doggiedog on this one. Palcomix it may be, but curiosity drives me forward. There's a good 75% (80% if we're being cynical here) chance that this'll suck, but fuck it. Not like this'll kill me.

Here's what I don't get. Why are Palcomix the ONLY ONE who ever does half the series they do? I mean, their comics tend to be weird works with bad art and stories that literally make no sense. On the other hand... they're the ONLY people drawing some of these works. It's... so... frustrating!

Palcomix has been shit since the day they accepted money. Their style is to trace off of other art. They have not grown ANY talent in all these years, the writing is horseshit, and the guy behind it all is an egotistical fucknugget who'll send his legions of frothing spergs after you if you disagree or call him out on his bullshit.

I am the guy who commissioned this comic. The reason the majority of comics are shit, at least on the writing and content side, is that the commissioners are the ones who write the scripts for the comics. I really can't speak for the art, though I can say that I was asked to provide a reference sheet to help him draw the comic. I did my best to capture the feel of the game as I possibly could, and I even put an obscure call back to a line from the original Splatoon reveal. I promise shit won't get too weird, this will probably be one of the more grounded comics from the site in a while.
