The anime is okay. You can't possibly show most of the stuff that's in the manga on TV. The only thing A-1 goofed on is their cost cutting animation.

IMHO, the biggest issue with the anime isn't just the mediocre redesigns (like the one they did to the Myui's Maids. How they dare to turn Persia, one of the best tiger girls ever made, into just another nondescript catgirl. BLASPHEMY!!!), the greatest issue with the anime is that no studio can match Sao Satoru-sensei's epic art style.

Even if her design isn't that of the manga, she still looks better than the anime's official art. His art is just too good, so, without it, the characters feel bland and unpolished, but with his art, even the anime's designs look good....
