Actual Baba Yaga (most famous and strongest witch in the Russian folklore, she's basically Russian variant of Morgan Le Fay a.k.a. "Lady Morgana" of Camelot) doesn't look like that at all the times. Even though she's more than 900 years old (by the time 1600s hit, when first fairy tales and folklore mentions of her started appearing throughout the Russia itself and other neighboring Slavic lands), she's so powerful with her magic that she actually uses the image of being an old granny to fool people, not the other way around. "Baba" is a derivative of Russian word "Babushka", which means "Grandmother", she got called like that because of her typical appearance to humans whom she fools into believing she has an old body, but in reality she's just a Yaga - the most powerful Russian witch - and she can be anything in all actuality (she easily can turn herself into a little girl or young woman, any animal, or inanimate object). Even Koschey Bessmertniy ("Koschey The Immortal", most powerful necromancer and dark magician in Russian folklore, he's essentially the Russian/Slavic equivalent of the Lich. Most non-Slavic christian people know him by the name "Chernobog" (literally translates as "Black God" in Russian language, but the lore meaning goes as "God of Darkness") or "Czernobog". Chernobog and Koschey Bessmertniy are one and the same, it's the same folkloric person/deity) fears Yaga and her powers, which is quite ironical because in most visual depictions of ancient Slavic/Russian folklore or fairy tales (mostly in animated cartoons or live action movies) they actually present Yaga as being Koschey's underling or sorts, while in real lore she usually kicks his ass all the time and boy-oh-boy she kicks his ass HAAARD. All in all - I think it's not correct to tag her as a "monmusu"/"moster girl" type, because she's really not a monster by her physiology. She's just a very powerful witch that can shape-shift in any thing/being she wants and she gained that ability by pure magical means only (by studying and learning magical spells), aside from that she's 100% humanoid, so she's really not a "monster girl" by the core of it. What should be also noted is that Yaga has never been depicted as being a 100% evil person in Russian folklore in particular (unlike what most of these pics show). In other Slavic countries she usually does get presented as being a purely evil character, but in Russian folklore out of all others she's usually either neutral or good.

P.S. Just a trivia: in the "Shadowman 2" (sequel to the game "Shadowman") Yaga inhabits one of the stages where she stalks you constantly and you can't hurt/kill her.

You weren't kidding. I just thought that was the artist's moniker. Well... chalk another one up for rule34.
