i respect your opinion but you know that Shenmue is not an ordinary game. We've been waiting for this for 14 years. I hope you reconsider because i know when it's released you'll regret for not supporting this great game.

Original Shenmue cost like 47million $ to make, they are asking 10million $ for the kickstarter and making it fully open world (which costs mountains), also the studio is in Tokyo which is one of the most expensive places in the world. I'd be very happy for the developers and the fans if this worked out but it looks to me that it's a sinking boat. Of course it's not like I have insider knowledge or anything, maybe some company will found the rest, maybe they don't even need it.

I just don't like people who make promises they have no way of upholding. How can you say "That money will not be wasted. You will not be dissapointed, I garantee it."? Are you actualy working on the game yourself? Many people have lost money on Kickstarter, that's part of the risk. Don't lie saying there is none, it's cool to ask people for support on a game you love just don't hide the risks.

Most games on kickstarter are not sequels so it's understandable that some of the games end up being not so great, either because it was all the money the developers could afford or simply had no creative vision.

of course giving money to kickstarter is a risk, especially to things u never heard about, but that's the same as pre-order, no? All i ask is for everyone to be curious and google about shenmue.

Don't forget that those 47 million are included the marketing and the cancelled sega saturn version. My meaning for the "money will not be wasted...." is that if you played shenmue 1 and 2, you already know what you're getting for 3. if u loved those games and want to help continue the story, then contribute, if not, well not everyone loves shenmue, but at least my job will be done.

I only want people to know about shenmue 3 on kickstarter, it's your choice, yours alone (well your wallet too) to think if it's worth the risk or not.
