I love the way the artist handled the fallout after third chapter, the fact that he made Eren *not* turn into a plain, pansy beta-male that just sulks and gets off to the Mikasa getting screwed by someone else is a nice change of pace. Too often the main character just sits back, cries, and lets the girl get taken.

I do wish though, that they dragged Eren hating Mikasa out a little longer, maybe even end Ch 4 with him just using her and leaving her in tears nearly broken, and extending into a 5th chapter where they can fix their broken relationship. Also, I agree with Xelgadis, he shouldn't just end it with, "Thank you very much." to the guy that nearly stole his girlfriend after he mind-broke and NTR'd her. It should have been more along the lines of, "Thank you very much... but if you touch her ever again, I will kill you in your sleep."
