Typical premise to get right to the sex but it fits smoothly with their character.

As far as the poster's rant about DearS making it seem like slavery was ok: The entire moral of the story was that you should respect and care for the feelings and desires of those around you. The entire climax of the anime was the main character accepting Ren's decision to choose him. Which is even more significant given the DearS are a manufactured alien slave race which are not supposed to possess the free will Ren displayed.

So no. DearS does not say that slavery is good. It shows the audience that you should treat others with humanity even if they may be self depreciating and do not believe in themselves.
