My problem with the "story" to FoE is, and always will be, the amount of obvious Gary Stu. So, the guy who overthrows Equestria is invulnerable to magic, and beat both of the alicorn sisters at the same time. Despite having a force that is outnumbered (In canon the caribou island has been destroyed and there are few survivors) they take over the ENTIRE WORLD (shown in the images where Zebra's are given as tribute and a griffon is captured, implying they are working towards world domination with ease), and if you try and fight back, they have magic that turns males into females, who instantly turn into mindless drooling sluts.

I don't see anything wrong there at all. Nope, he's totally not some idiot's power fantasy. ...seriously, this is an idea that only exists because someone has too much money and not enough cock between their legs.

You're confusing the nature of actual BDSM scenes with the nature of the fantasies. The fantasy at play here is one of a total loss of control and agency, far beyond what could ever be done in real life.
