Sadly it is something you either love or loathe. It's difficult to describe even to fellow voraphiles let alone laypeople. there actually is, this site just hasn't split the tag into its seperate components. Soft vore is for harmless and ambiguous stuff where everything goes back to normal afterwards or there is little distress and no indication of injury on the part of the injested party, where as hard vore can involve chewing, death and even the passing out of the remains if scat is involved.
