Don't get me wrong. I've seen some really good works with unusual pupils in them here, but...

I kinda wish the artist hadn't made her pupils heart-shaped 100% of the time. If he'd used them just for when she's really happy or really excited/aroused, they would have packed a lot more punch. Instead, even though the pupils really look cute, they can be a bit distracting when they don't match her expression and they do lose a little of their impact just always being in any panel where you get a direct look at them. Heck, it might have been better to have a different unusual pupil pattern for her eyes normally, and then reserve the hearts for the instances I listed above. In any case, I'm a bit worried that the hentai industry realizes unusual pupils are trending, so expect oversaturation and mass misuse of this fetish in the (very?) near future.

That said, the scenario was adorable. I do kind of wish it had allowed itself to develop into femdom, but seeing as the couple and the art were both enjoyable, I'm quite alright with this.
