Of course, but absolute speed is irrelevant to our purposes; Yuugi and Suika would obviously not going to be impressed by pure linear movement because anyone can, say, roll a big boulder downhill at high speeds. Their being impressed would only make sense in terms of the Katamari's ability to turn and maneuver, as those would not be capabilities expected of a large moving object, whereas raw speed certainly could be.

AbusePuppy, larger Katamaris do not move slower. They cover more ground in the same amount of time, thus they are faster in absolute terms. However, they have trouble getting and losing momentum compared to smaller ones. But to say bigger ones are slower is wrong.
