It was actually rendered in Daz3D.
The base model was Victoria 4 (Daz3D), with some custom morphs on her face, and skin texture from Godin (renderocity).

Her iris and pupil being so big and dark has an unfortunate effect. In many images it looks like her entire eye is black. Aside from that it looked pretty good and I liked the story.

Yes, you are 100% correct. In some scenes, the texture of her eyes is way too dark. And the "AO" for 3Delight is not helping too. It was way before Iray, and my GPU can't handle Octane Render on complex scenes yet.
