Well not my genre but even when I read it anyway the fact that the red-eyed one had to verbalize the ACTUAL antagonist so we'd know that it was going to happen regardless(As if we didn't know just by reading) was kind of off putting, redundant, and strange.

I suppose to understand one would have to read the fic of it but it's honestly that whole "Bad End" genre where we see the decent into depravity and helplessness and corruption.
