The original Kusanyagi's translation was revised by a N1 Level Japanese translator because he's the best and we luv him.
We (Ero Manga Girls) edited it and our friends CellTF and Flammz QC it because they're so good at spotting our mistakes.

Well credit where it is due, this one is superior in every way to mine, and that should come as no real surprise.

What is surprising is the amount of venom you have been directing at me thus far. I can understand that my 'fixes' and 'edits' are nowhere near what a real scanlation/translation could ever be, and this is glaring proof of the fact. But they were never meant to be anything close to them, they were intended as an alternative if a Laruffii version was all there was and all there would seem to be in the expected future, and have stated my position on how I feel about the work I did on the few uploads I have made. Namely, I would always seek to find out if anyone else was working on something Laruffii had already done before going and getting my hands dirty and doing my best to at least make it understandable. I try not to step on toes, and stay well out of the way of anyone that is intending to do a rework, and have expressed a desire to take down my own work, or redirect as much traffic as possible from them to a superior version if and when it is uploaded.

To sum that paragraph up: I. AM. NOT. A. TRANSLATOR/SCANLATOR. Never said I was, never pretended to be one, and yet you came at me half the time as though I was supposed to be something that I am not.

I was well prepared to deal with people pointing out errors and telling me ways in which I could do better, since constructive criticism is never a bad thing. The editing, especially on that last upload, was pretty poor and I was contemplating postponing any future work to spend time at least cleaning it up and run it by another editor to see if I'd messed anything up. That you would take that last upload as much as a personal offense and proceed to label my explanation as B.S. while basically ignoring what I had tried to explain was kind of jarring and left me with little idea of how to even respond to something like that, e.g. I don't speak/read Japanese (that means I don't know what would have been originally there, and all I'd have to go on is the previous translation), and yet you continued to cite:
example: page 1, last panel: "let's teach her a lesson!" is totally an invention of laruffi.
By the way, the reason I made the last line of my response that way is because you stated "the editing is as bad as the "original"... "you also added mistakes laruffi didn't do (irresistable > irresistible)." which I took to meaning you actually preferred his translation, so I tried to basically say 'fine, his is still there if you really find mine to be worse.'

I appreciate your work, and it is good. You're professionals at this and work as a team, something that I am not and don't have, as this was something that I decided to try literally less than a month ago out of spare time and a sense of disappointment that hardly anyone was willing to do something about the Laruffii translations, so I don't have anyone to spot my mistakes and only one person has offered any real help at all thus far. Enough about that though, I think I've done as much as I can explaining my position as clearly as I could.

Anyhow, nicely done, rated it a 5.0 and redirecting traffic to this from the inferior version at the top of its description should anyone somehow stumble upon it.

My general feeling is that laruffii generates enough drama as-is. Causing even more in an ancillary way is not any better.

E-hentai in general is becoming much more unfriendly as time goes on. It used to be if you only stayed out of the forums, you could avoid the brunt of it, but that is becoming harder to do in the galleries now as well.

I am happy to see another version, but at the same time, I wish the wall of text was speaking of positive remarks of the material here, instead of negative drama of material by others.

We din't like to write the rant but we felt it was necessary to explain the background and why we picked this hentai.

I was mad at you because I didn't (and still don't) understand how a person, who doesn't understand Japanese, can think of fixing a Japanese - English translation and trash-talking other people's works without providing a better alternative, especially since we know how time consuming is translating, editing and qcing. e-hentai is already full of bad translators and editors (and some of them are well-know and established translators and editors) who post horrible stuff: don't be one of them. My rant was directed to them, it was not a personal attack to you. What I'm trying to tell you is: be smarter than them.

We have a basic understanding of *hentai* Japanese: good enough to do this https://e-hentai.org/g/713657/a85a483cf8/ but not this https://e-hentai.org/g/708258/d07e5133f5/. We'd like to fix those horrible Doujin-Moe scans, especially the Sunahara Wataru and the YU-RI's ones, but alas we can't (don't think we didn't try: we tried to fix the Sunahara Wataru one but it was clear from page 1 that we're not good enough). That's why we edit and let real translators handle the translations.

The only Pro here is Zenigeba. We are two girls who used to make a living from Photoshop and typography. One day in 2012 we started editing hentai. Èlia started working with FUKE. Later I joined LWB/TV/SW and set up our little blog. That's all. Edit hentai for 28 months and you'll at least be good as we are, if not better : )

If you're really serious, you should join a group, learn how to edit, have other people look at your work and have fun with them. Start with simple illustrations or very easy to level and clean hentais (like Hana Hook's books). We can give you tips, explain to you how to do basic things (PM us or write an email to us) but you should really join a group: working alone is not fun.

Don't waste your time on Laruffi: his translations should be ignored: no tags, no comments, no votes, and certainly not your time.

Years ago, I attempted a similar 'rescue' with a CGR work. I quickly learned, as I attempted to decipher his poor english, that his translations were totally off base and inaccurate. And that was just from looking at the flow of artwork and which bubble pointed where (he often mistakes who is speaking to whom). I am not a translator. But it's really easy to see when somebody's just BSing the script. If it were just a matter of fixing up some grammar or spelling, fine. But it was totally off base and really confused. Lesson learned: re-editing any work should not be attempted without an accurate translation, or it's just a waste of everyone's time. Especially when faced with walls of verbal garbage that TLs like CGR and Laruffii put out.
