Wavedash means what he said, they didn't use white to fill in the bubbles. They used a color slightly off from white. It's really barely noticeable, but once you notice it's quite annoying.

I hate to be that guy but is there a higher quality version of this? Edit: Yeah I was afraid of that, thanks anyway. I've been trying to read it and some of the Kanji are very hard to read due to them getting too pixilated when zooming in, I wouldn't be opposed to trying to actually translate this though I don't know how to typeset so it would probably be meh.

Though why she does anything in the story seems to be able to be summed up for kicks, some people she punishes but others she seems to say she's just doing it for the hell of it.
