Well since Korra and Asami are canon lesbians confirmed in the series finale, any sex she had with Mako would be a nightmare

To be bisexual, you gotta have at least a passing interest in both genders, no evidence that is the case for Korra and Asami

Sure things between Asami and Korra might not work out (Probably it will, but lets say for the sake of argument), but its more likely that both of them would end up with other girls as opposed to any guy as shown by their lack of interest in any guys.

@baxtus: You do realise that people can still be bisexual even after not liking someone of the opposite sex for 4 years? By that logic, Mako is now asexual. You're effectively erasing Korra's identity by calling her lesbian.

To be bisexual, you gotta be attracted to guys and girls, there's no damn timeframe on sexuality. Maybe years down the line things don't work out between Korra and Asami, and Korra ends up with a guy. Would that make her straight? No she would still be bisexual.

@baxtus: Listen, I literally created an account just to prove you wrong. I wanna ask how Korra and Asami have not shown interest in guys, but you would come up with something incredibly irrational and not valid, as your last arguments have shown. So instead, I'm gonna skip that step and tell you that Korra and Asami have both dated Mako, and Korra kinda dated Bolin, so that automatically shows her interest in guys. Also, like pieface007 said, you don't measure someone's sexuality with time and since they once showed interest in Mako, they are Bisexual. Not only lesbian, but also straight (in a manner of speaking).

Let me break this down for you, so you understand, Korra.... you know, the main protagonist, liked Mako... that one main protagonist that firebends and had a red scarf. She, Korra, dated HIM, Mako. She was emotionally attracted to him, she was physically attracted to him, she, Korra the Legend, was also attracted to Asami.... the one that cannot bend. So - in conclusion- Korra may not be emotionally attached to Mako, but she is still attracted to him. Korra is, right now.... at this moment (Fictionally speaking), she is dating Asami. Do. You. Understand.

Now that the stupid part is over, maybe you will understand that by your logic, a bisexual man or woman cannot be bisexual if they, very obviously, show their interest in both genders. Which means, a bisexual man or woman in a relationship cannot be bisexual if they do not show their interest in the other gender. I do not know how I can really explain this for you, since you are being a little weird about this, but I tried in 3 different ways, so hopefully you understand....
PS: Oh, also this is just a really nice drawing by the lovely Deesky, so it is not even cannon. So do not even go into how unrealistic this is.

PSS: Korra has shown interest in guys plenty of times in the show, I'm not saying that she showed interest at the end of the series, but this isn't at the end of the series, is it? So don't be daft, you silly Douchbagel.

I identify as Bi despite beibg exclusively inly attracted to females now but in the past I did date and was attracted to guys. Now? Guy are just FWBNSA or purely friendzoned. The idea of being smothered by a guy disgusts me.

That aside, if the fact that Korra or Asami had liked Mako simply because the other one liked him, it would have made sense of the lesbian thing... kinda... but first met him separately without knowing the other was involved and infact they were strangers then. So yes they were attracted to him of their own feelings and will.

Korra and Asami are open and confident enough in themselves that they like who or what they like without the boundaries of a trivial thing called Gender.
