"All-caps fonts" are not and have never been required. Font selection only has to satisfy two conditions: look like the Japanese font and/or look good. Matching the font style usually isn't a concern for dialogue text, it's mostly used for sfx and moans. Japanese kana and kanji don't have capitalization, so that's not an issue when matching fonts. Look up any of {5 a.m.}'s scanlations for reference. It looks good, and that's what's important.
