Better than Akane yes, but not better than Tatewaki. We've seen so many Ranma -X- Ryouga already, why couldn't they have made this a Ranma -X- Tatewaki? It started so nice with Kunou and then Ryouga just had to show up and ruin things. And what was that sudden switch in Ranma after she had been saved? The hell did she jump Ryouga and decide to have sex with him? That was the worst kind of OOC development I've ever seen. If it was that easy to get her horny, then she would have been happy with Tatewaki if he had just managed to put it in. Bah! People should write the writer and complain that he copped out and didn't make this a full Ranma+Tatewaki doujin.

Yeah, it does kind of seem like it is a sequel but then the whole plot for the first doujin was pretty bad as well. The plot of that one basically had Ryouga rape Ranma when she was unconscious because he figured he had to "practice", then when she wakes up he continues to rape her and even calls her "Akane". Ranma being raped and having always seen Ryouga as a HUGE wuz, goes completely OOC and tells him to call her name and be more gentle instead. Compare this to how Ranma is super upset when a guy that actually loves her and doesn't just use her as an "Akane substitute", and it becomes pretty weird that she feels she was saved? She was saved by her rapist from having sex with a man that loved her and wanted to marry her? Brilliant.

... I mean I get the whole thing about hooking up Ryouga and Ranma, but the artist/author should still keep her IC you know? Have her call Ryouga a wimp and still feel he is one afterwards. Maybe call him a "limpdick" and say that he was unable to make her cum or something. Have her tell him that even Akane is more of a man.

I guess what I am saying is, that aside from the whole "Koi rod" incident, there isn't a shred if hint that Ranma think s of Ryouga as anything other than a loser and a wimp. The whole Koi rod incident wasn't really her real will/personality so what we are left with is nothing.
Compare this with Tatewaki. Tatewaki loves the female Ranma and unlike with Ryouga, Ranma has actually reacted to Tatewaki. She knows Tatewaki likes/loves her, and while she certainly gives him a beating whenever he hugs her, she is very much aware what his feelings are. If Tatewaki had sex with her, then he wouldn't call out Akane's name. I mean he likes Akane too, but he wouldn't call Ranma-chan "Akane".
