@lapan didn't notice till you pointed it out and even then... Who the hell cares it's not like it's pixilated text like other scans. It's readable and looks like a text bubble. Hell, the fact it lines up around the borders it even look like it was just a symmetrical style.

Alt: Use a transparent black layer instead.
On a new layer, fill the affected area with black (but not the entire bubble, just the text), then turn down opacity. Typeset over it with a stroke. Helps highlighting text without actually ruining art.
