The game starts with Hiroshi (Husband) having sex with Nagisa (Wife) – Page 003 to 010 in this gallery – just another day in their life, after the love making Nagisa says she is going to take a bath, Hiroshi says he will go after her, Hiroshi hears a cellphone ringing, it’s Nagisa’s, she left there on their room.

The first choice in the game pops up when Hiroshi hears Nagisa’s cell ringing, however it’s not much of a choice at first, the other one is locked for the moment so you can only make Hiroshi’s curiosity take the best out of him and read the mail sent to Nagisa’s phone.

Hiroshi gets immediately shocked for two reasons, one the mail is from Tomoya (NTR Guy), a close friend of him and Nagisa, they are all college mates and Tomoya was their best man in the marriage, Hiroshi hasn’t seen Tomoya since the marriage itself, two the content of the e-mail is extremely suggestive, basically it is Tomoya’s reply to Nagisa’s reply of his first message that day, Tomoya invited Nagisa to go out, to have some fun in a popular area known for its love hotels, Nagisa has already replied with a yes, she is eagerly waiting for it, Tomoya replies back that he will takes care of Nagisa’s “frustration”; Hiroshi knew Tomoya was coming to visit them, he had told Hiroshi he would be dropping by two days from now on but his message to Nagisa says he will meet her tomorrow.

Hiroshi doesn’t spend too much time in disbelief, he is already torn and thinks Nagisa and Tomoya are having an affair, Nagisa comes out of the bath and notices she entered the bathroom without her phone, she heard it ringing but only came out of the bath now, she freezes in shock as she notices Hiroshi’s deadpan face, she weakly asks if he read the message, Hiroshi says yes and so it begins.

This game is a tricky one, to the point Atelier Sakura felt the need to explain how it works when you first start it, basically this is a game that predetermines how you will play, many choices are locked at first, forcing you to play it again 7 times, each time you play all of what I detailed above will repeat, what changes is what new details Hiroshi will hear from Nagisa as he corners her in an interrogation session after he just found out he has been getting cheated on – Page 011 to 020.

I’ve said you need to replay the game 7 times to get the actual real ending, however the game is really short, basically it is: Hiroshi and Nagisa have sex > She goes to take a bath > Hiroshi picks up phone and reads the e-mail > Nagisa comes and is cornered into answering Hiroshi’s questions > She explains one event where she cheated on him with Tomoya > A sex scene from Nagisa’s POV is unlocked; what sex scene is unlocked is dependent on what choice you had it available for Hiroshi to pick and have Nagisa explain to him, new choices are unlocked each time you’ve heard Nagisa confess and the game ends abruptly, forcing you to play it again and hear a new confession.

The game ending abruptly is Hiroshi despairing after hearing each of Nagisa’s confessions, the following or joint variation happens after the confessions:

-Hiroshi gets angry and tries to take off Nagisa’s cell out her hands, she screams in fear that he will know more; she locks herself in the bathroom with Hiroshi angrily lashing out to her open the door, game ends.
-Hiroshi despairs and says he wants to go out to the balcony and breath some fresh air to reorganize his thoughts, he comes back and sees that Nagisa erased all of her e-mail history, Hiroshi says that’s it, he can’t prove she had more meetings with Tomoya but it doesn’t matter, their marriage is over, game ends.
-Hiroshi despairs and says he wants to go out to the balcony and breathe some fresh air to reorganize his thoughts, he comes back and sees that Nagisa left the house, he notices she left her wedding ring, he gives a sad laugh and doesn’t even pursue, his marriage is over, game ends.
-Hiroshi despairs and says he wants to go out to the balcony and breathe some fresh air to reorganize his thoughts, he cries in despair wishing that he had never taken Nagisa’s cell and read its messages, game ends.

Nagisa’s reaction through all interrogation sections is she denying that she cheated on Hiroshi except that one time the given confession is about, this is a lie that the player gets know of course as each New Game shows as new event where she cheated, some playthroughs with the different choices has Hiroshi realizing and Nagisa confessing they were other times though, Nagisa pleads for forgiveness but her dialogue is full of holes as she can’t deny that she was loving getting some action behind Hiroshi’s back so he can’t bring himself to trust her.

After replaying the game 6 times and getting the confession that lands you the abrupt ending where Hiroshi wishes he had never picked Nagisa’s cell, the 7th playthrough unlocks the very first choice where you decided to pick up Nagisa’s cell or not, not picking up is the final choice unlocked and what gives you the Actual Ending of the game.

Hiroshi doesn’t pick up Nagisa’s cell, she comes back to the room and notices she has a new message on her phone, she gets shocked for a second and asks if Hiroshi saw the messages on her phone, he says of course not that wouldn’t be right even if she is his wife, or exacly because she is his wife that can’t do that, Nagisa smiles as if she dodged a bullet.

The next day Nagisa says she is going to the Beauty Salon, prepare herself for tomorrow, to look nice as Tomoya is finally coming back to see them – Page 320 & 321; this is a lie of course, she is going to meet Tomoya right now as the message was all about.

The following is the sex scene that takes place in the current events of the game, not Nagisa confessing something that happened in the past, it is the final scene of the game with Nagisa not feeling a drop of guilt for cheating on Hiroshi as in some of the recollection scenes she felt some, with her leading and loving the sex more than ever as the other scenes has Tomoya taking the lead, now coming into terms that Hiroshi could never please her with sex but she loves him for everything else, so she will feed this situation for as long as she can – Page 295 to 319.

This is the actual ending of the game for it is the last one that can be seen and the only one where the Credits Roll, basically Hiroshi must never find out Nagisa and Tomoya have been stabbing him in the back and Nagisa goes on to keep having her fun in secret, Atelier Sakura just fooled me into replaying a game 7 times for nothing.
