Hard to rage, when its hard to feel sorry for protagonists. Both are idiots.
Guy for thinking that being attracted to pretty girl who is not his blood relative being abnormal, and wimping out like that. He could've say something like "We should take it slow, since our situation is unusual." And it would make perfect sense, it would give them time to figure out if things can work out.
Girl for slutting herself out to a walking "I-am-an-asshole" stereotype. Really? Unkept beard + motorcycle + perpetually smirky face? All that missing is a tattoo. And what kind of person has its instinct as "first thing to do when I am hurt, I'll lie down and spread my legs in front of somebody I know very little about, and what I know are bad things". Doesn't she have ANY friends? Real-life person would just give a call to somebody they have at at least a somewhat healthy relationship.
Oh well. Its hard to convincingly portray a plausible tragedy. Easier to make characters being dumb for no reason - except few self-respectful people empathize with unrealistic idiots. Back to my first sentence it this post.
