It's hard to say. Truthfully, it can be yaoi-ish. It can also be a really, really weird coming-of-age story. The young boy turned girl discovers all of the changes in his/her body including her new found sexuality. Also, it can be a "walk a mile in another man's/woman's shoes" story. There was one where the guy complained that women have it easy and then a bunch of girls force him to turn into a woman to experience the negative aspects of being a woman (and some hentai scenes too).
