... Fate should just include Teana in a threesome at this rate.

EDIT: Hah, Subaru's a bro. She's saying that she'll try and find a good man for Tea, because it's unlikely guys will be interested in her (her words, not mine).

@Mazryonh: I dunno about the last volume, but Hayate seemed to have a hand in it and here. As for Teana, her actions seem to have been brought about by Hayate, as well as a combination of jealousy and loneliness, due to being an orphan. Hayate explicitly tells Nanoha and Fate that because they all had families, none of them could understand Teana from that angle. It's part of why Subaru says she'll find her a good man. It's pretty much a perfect set-up for a Home Sweet Home ~ Teana-hen ~. Teana's attraction to Fate's boyfriend/husband was foreshadowed in the third volume as well, looking back.

Also Rein Zwei didn't approve of Hayate's actions, and tells her she reaped what she sowed. Lol.

@kitsuneH: Good christ, give it a rest. You're a diehard NanoFate anti-het fan, WE GET IT. Try being tolerant of other people's tastes for once in your life. It won't kill you.

@IonicTHI: All things considered, ViVid doesn't indicate anything like the two being a couple in its narrative, and A La Carte is a collection of fan-made doujins, so there's no chance of it being canon.

All things considered, so long as there's a heavy interest in NanoFate, it won't be confirmed because the anticipation keeps the franchise funded. I know some people won't like hearing that but that's the sad truth of the matter.

Why haven't more entries from this doujin series been translated into English yet? The art is exquisite and the artist really does a nice job with the grown-up MGLN characters.

Mikuni Mizuki really needs to make a book for this series focussing solely on Teana. Another book for Signum wouldn't hurt either.

@R.D. #1: Could you tell us just what Teana and Fate were suffering from in the beginning of the last entry in this series?

@R.D. #2: Heh, Hayate's such a meddler. She is shown to have bugged Signum's shared room with her husband back in HSH ~Signum hen~. As for future volumes, Mikuni Mizuki has had fans request books for Teana and Subaru on his own blog in the past--I hope that if Teana gets her own book, Subaru will grope Teana's breasts from behind (she did such antics in the anime) when the latter is talking to her new boyfriend at the end and say "Is he taking good care of these?!". Come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if Mikuni Mizuki drew Hayate doing that to Signum either in another ~Signum hen~ book.

The real joke is that how Subaru says "men wouldn't be interested in me" in this doujin, when at the time of this comment, Subaru's seiyuu, Chiwa Saitou, recently got married.

@Palaxius #1: Right, and as fans of vanilla, we like "the most boring and generic (hentai) flavour EVER," and given our lower numbers we aren't as likely to pay much for commissioned translations. I still wish a fan-translation team like Life4Kaoru or Team Vanilla would translate Mikuni Mizuki's MGLN works, though.

@Palaxius #2: No, I don't follow commission logs, but it's clear from my experience amongst the anime art fandom that vanilla fans are vastly outnumbered by the yaoi- and yuri-fans (especially among the fanfiction community, which the doujinshi community is a subset of). For instance, two take-all-comers translators I know of, SaHa and Desudesu0, most certainly do not have vanilla doujinshi/h-manga at the top of their genre list in terms of commissions completed. Right now it seems to me that vanilla (and by extension its fans) is left to weep milky white tears all by its lonesome. Why else is "Heterosexual Sex in the Missionary Position" such a laughingstock meme on 4chan?

@Palaxius #3: I see, I think the label's we're using are either too broad or too narrow. I think I'll send you a private message. I also know you've been involved in other fan translations before; any chance you'd be working on this and Mikuni Mizuki's other works?

Mazryonh: because the Nanoha fandom is made mostly of yurifans.

EDIT2: 1. desudesu puts everything related to "vanilla" under "happy sex" (highest number) and saha puts everything under "straight sex" (so does biribiri) so you can't even try to begin making distinctions with the two of them.

2. I'm not sure just how did you get that idea but I don't agree. From what I see vanilla always gets quite a huge number of free and paid translations, and this is nice because unlike yuri and yaoi, fans are plenty, people actually dedicated are few. To put it bluntly: they are many but they don't have a clue. Take l**i, it is a huge fetish whether it's okay or not, but you have literally one or two translators in total for it. If Mistvern one day decided to quit, it would be over for the most part.

There's someone you could point the finger of blame at but this is neither the time nor the place.

3. Don't trust anything coming from that board, the picture painted there does not correspond to reality.

You can always commission it if you love it so much.

Usual Nanoha translators which are more yuri friendly find such doujin offending to canon content(where Nanoha and Fate are together as family of either pure lesbians or complete pure asexuals without any interest into guys) as any normal Nanoha fan would.

Personally as yuri/futa fan I find it jarring that most of better artists in Nanoha jap fandom do only cheap het stuff for comikets for easy money year by year having canon content in the ass completely like it would not exist at all, but truthfully most yuri friendly series have this problem in overall.

Canon? lol

It's pure fanon in reality. Shows only tease such things for pure fan service purposes much in the same way it works for fujoshi. All you really have to do is look at that one episode where Nanoha and Yuuno met again in StrikerS. The atmosphere of the scene was teasing it as the two being interested in each other and all the yuri fans went bat shit.

Not saying fanon is a bad thing at all but you really shouldn't claim it as canon when it isn't.

@IonicTHI

My post was a reply to a post since hidden. But like I said it's still fanon. Canon is indisputable fact, fanon is what the fans generally agree on.

I have in fact read Vivid, and I see no reason to change my stance (it's pretty bad though tbh). Also, A La Carte isn't really canon, it's a supplementary work.

My point is, you can decide to treat the characters' sexuality anyway you want. Neither has been confirmed as canon (for obvious reasons) so it's really up to you.

Edit: *sigh* Your colors are showing and I really don't feel like getting in an argument over this for the umpteenth time. Anything that has the includes the word fanwork means instantly non-canon, doesn't matter if it's by the illustrator. If it's not by the actual writer, it's non-canon. As for the living together part, I've seen many best friends living together and many girls I've known tend to sleep in the same bed together on sleep overs. The only thing that I can't contend with is the child raising part, but I see that mostly as fanservice for the yuri fans. Until there's an official "I love you" or something that implies as such, every relationship is non-canon and simply ship-teasing.

That's my final word on the matter and I feel like punching myself in the face for doing this again. Yuri fans can be so bloody elitist sometimes.

Edit2 (just because): Says the one who resorts to swearing. Nowhere did I call you a name in my post. For whatever reason you're getting all mad and hostile when I'm trying to have a civil discussion, but whatever. You clearly have no clue whatsoever of what canon entails so this discussion is over. I will attempt to enlighten you however.

Fate/Kaleid Prisma Ilya is an officially published manga recognized by Type-Moon. However it is not written by Nasu, so it is in no way canon. The same goes with Carnival Phantasm/Take-Moon. A La Carte is not written by Tsuzuki Masaki and is written by fans. FANS. No work by a fan can be considered canon in any way, unless confirmed by the original author. Fate/Zero has this, but Fate/Kaleid Prisma Ilya and Carnival Phantasm/Take Moon do not. A La Carte also does not have this. Also go read Nanya's and R.D.'s posts since mine seem to anger you so much for whatever reason.

I won't tell you to go punch yourself (because I'm not a mean-spirited buffoon), but I will end of with this.

I bid you adieu. Goodbye and good riddance. You will be ignored from here on out.

NanoFate is pretty much canon at this point. Go read Vivid and A La Carte. Sexual or asexual that is another story.
It does still allow for self inserting (h-doujins of Ishigaki Takashi are awesome stuff) just to keep people that go for that buying all the merch.

Now what does canon have to do with h-doujins? Nothing at fucking all.

Personally i d rather see more NF futa stuff like Nineteens NxF made and translated but i cant argue against good art.

In any case: Fap and let fap.

Edit @Kuntzy21:
It is indisputable (canon) that they live together, are raising a child and that there are no male or other characters involved with them romantically or in terms of a family union. A La Carte is official fanwork - extended Canon. There are a ton of other indicators and hints in all of the official works that point to the fact that their relationship is more than just best friends. They do not show any real romantic affection for each other "in public - to the viewer/reader" so you can argue that they are asexual but they are definitely a family (albeit not in legal terms). And yes it is in the authors interest to keep it as ambiguous as possible.

As i said and agree it matters fuck all for doujins though even if they were a canon yuri couple.

Edit 2: go punch yourself for not getting the point and labelling me as a yuri fan and what not. When have you seen yuri fans recommend a het doujin to others? Official "fan"work (anthology in this case) is canon else it wouldnt be labelled official. And no i wont bother arguing further points when you still cant get a simple fact like that and resort to name calling like a child.

Alright, I think I need to say this...

In canon, Fate has her own place, Erio, Caro and Arf all mentioned "Fate-san's place" in the sound stages and when they talk about Nanoha and Vivio's home, they don't mention that Fate lives there.

That being said, the situation that Nanoha and Fate are in with their houses isn't too uncommon. One person could have a place of their own but not spend a lot of time there, just use it for sleeping or entertaining guests and instead they spend more time with someone else be it a friend, lover or family member.

So, Fate doesn't live with Nanoha and Vivio, she just stays there so much that she might as well be living there. However, if her family (her kids, her mother, brother, sister-in-law or their kids) shows up, she can have them at her place to talk in peace if that's what she wants. Or if she needs the extra bedrooms for some reason.
