Going to agree somewhat with Deschain. But it's far more in-character than most other doujins I've seen. Rei is not emotionless, but expressionless. When receiving the D I don't think Rei would be like this either.

Excellent doujinshi, I love it, Saigado usually does very good NGE works specially with Shinji/Misato but this one is probably the best of his NGE works (and I must say that I totally loved Shinji/Misato ones), this develoment could totally have happened in the original story & that adds an amazing extra.
