I'm aware of the origin of the word. I'm also aware that its shortened form is used specifically within the furry genre to describe the type of character depicted here. Like many terms it takes on a different meaning depending on the specific jargon of the topic you're referring too.

@KPbICA both of those, as well as 48, are by an artist named Goldcat Empire. I've seen some of his stuff spread around here, furaffinity, and hentai foundry I believe. Never seen an official site if one exists. Hope that helps.
