@Disturbedfan077: Because Kuroki Hidehiko is as vanilla as the 'cheating' genre gets, in that
a) you get the impression that the person being cheated on deserved it/is already cheating to begin with or
b) you only see enough of the characters to not sympathize as much with who's being cheated on.

Of course, maybe I'm wrong and that's actually a different author's description, but that's also my impression. You don't get the impression that the person cheating was mindbreaked or forced into it, while at the same time it's not like she went out looking to cheat in the first place. Now, for other works (like straight-up ntr with the group and the rape or blackmail or etc), I can see where you'd be coming from with that, but more than likely the husband would be outnumbered, overpowered, or simply tied up in a corner to begin with. But this isn't one of those other works.

And in most NTR's, if the guy being cheated on isn't being restrained, he's usually coming in on the situation long after things have hit rock-bottom and there's nigh-nothing he can get out of taking her back (reclaimer route) or killing them both off ("so this was that kind of story" route). Of course, either path is allowed depending on whether or not the artist feels like extending it or giving it a different ending, but in the case I'm talking about, at that point the guy being NTR'd either has no drive to off them (there's no getting her back from where she's gone, and any revenge isn't going to give an "well I won" feeling), discovers that he 'likes' watching, or goes and finds someone else.

@sevenao: Achem. I said "as vanilla as the cheating genre gets." I never claimed that it was "vanilla" as in "they stay true to their predestined spouse." For one thing, as opposed to many netorares where the main guy doing the NTR'ing lets other guys in on it (for whatever reason), Hidehiko's characters are either not the "aggressive sharing" type or "surprised they're getting this far to begin with," single near-exception I'm aware of being the "Spouse-Swapping" 3parter where in the end the other wife decides "Yeah, no, I don't think I'm up for doing this again" (making the official first one I've seen by Hidehiko where one stays true to her original partner by the end, but I digress).

-Do you want to read about people feeling guilty about sex or do you want to read about people liking it (as opposed to being raped, mindbroken, etc.)? And you're right, it doesn't make sense, which is why we get the subtle version where they've tried, but neither of them can do anything about the situation themselves.

@ocelot deeper: Your opinion is appreciated. Was aware of those, but didn't want to bring them up and get long-winded, though things have ended up like this anyway.

Well, on the one extreme, there's stuff like the hot springs one, where the MC fills in on a couples trip with his friend and his wife and another wife whose husband coildn't make it. Both wives work on knocking out the friend so they can bang and even 3way the MC. All because they saw his massive boner. And the punchline is their husbands basically get ED because their wives are nymphos and demand too much sex. MC essentialy wins without losing anything.
A bit too many of his stories seem to repeat this theme to some extent IMO.

On the other end, the christmas one was straight swapping where everyone goes home happy.

I, personally, prefer something closer to the everybody wins scenario like that 3-part swapping one in 33-yr-old, where it's swapping but still retains the elements(and added spice) of cheating but in the end, everyone involved goes away happy.

I don't know how you can say this artist make vanilla inside all on his work.To me,it seems this artist like to make more Netori element rather than vanilla.I also doubt about their loyalty for their husband after that because some of them let another guy cum inside her and want to become sex friend on their own free will.No feeling guilty at all.

yes but what i was trying to point out is that in those stories that do contain cheating, netori is the prevalent theme.The thrill comes from having illicit affairs, and although werent forced some of them involve a form of dominance and submission(i.e mc got big hard penis and the wives all over it). Its kinky, its erotic, but definitely not vanilla.

@Bahamut Zero: Unfortunately, those in charge of tags currently still find it uneccessary to validate the 'netori' tag (partially due to those strange people that find the need to say "It's not different vanillafag, trololo sincerely, The Hypocrites"), so until further notice we're still stuck with the two being lumped under the same name.
