@MC: Personally I don't mind the SFX's and feel that taking the time to edit them out is a lot of work for a comparitively little asthetic appeal. So I favor just keeping the asthetics and not bothering even making no SFX versions (much less mixing them in). If your going to have SFX and nonSFX though i suggest seperating them as it made for a very odd read when you had the same page twice.

On comparing the length measurements given to the proportions actually drawn in those images, and taking more or less the average between all of the measurement images, I have come to the conclusion that she is apparently at most 60cm/2ft tall. That being said, the different measurement images don't seem to match up. An image with a length more than double another listed has an actual drawn length of maybe 50% more at most. It would appear the artist just threw some random numbers on the growth progression images without actually thinking about what was actually going on when he drew them.
