I admit that Mogudan in recent works (if not all of his works) have "perverted" the image of original Rei. But hentai is hentai, we search the most arousing stories out there, with good story (or fetish of our preference) if we can have it. I agree that there are better artists out there that may show Rei closer to the original character, but I still can't forget the good ol' days of Mogudan's Rei with smaller breast and more arousing stories (again, at least for me). Some part of me believes that he will revert to those old days. Guess I'm a sucker for nostalgia..

Personally I've always found Mogudan's version of Rei Ayanami to be so radically different from the original that it's virtually a different character, and by extension has no mileage with my mojo seeing as it's a cheap over inflated imitation with none of the traits that made the original character interesting.

While obviously it's not impossible to fap to, why bother with Mogudan's cheap helium infused knock-offs when there are better artists out there?

You need to see thing in different perspective. It's not about the shitty story, helium tits, or better artwork quality. When it comes to doujin, all that matter is the "fapping factor".

I've seen a lot of better artist than Mogudan, and could draw in much better perfection, better artwork etc. But all of that is meaningless if you can't fap on it. Eventually it boiled down to personal preferences.

For me, Mogudan artwork is highly fappable because i simply cant get enough of the way he draw dat ass, that angle shot, that slutty face, and a lot of other factors that make his work an easy material to fap to.
