I never did understand how hentai artists could claim copyright over these things. Just like Zone technically can't copyright character content in most flash he makes, nor can *****. They don't exactly own the rights to TTGL's Yoko, or Cowboy Bebop's Faye.

But these things are even truer for people like Reiq. I have a complete up to date collection of JG picsets, pretty much, and they're all characters from games or anime. So to me it just sounds silly to claim copyright over the material, other than simply saying that the artist put effort into making the image.

A question, though, does Reiq really want this stuff off the site? I read somewhere that he didn't care as long as his handle and the JG name was kept out of it.

Gaara29, they cannot copyright the CHARACTERS in the image. They can copyright the image itself. Copyright is one of those things that is 'weird' and allows parody artworks. It also allows people to copyright things using another person's characters, even if they don't have the copyright to those characters themselves.
