Actually liddlemicky has a point. Generally mind-break/degradation works by taking the image of a female figure that would seem unobtainable by the reader (because of either physical beauty or moral structure) and then tarnishing it and destroying it. This has two effects: first it makes the figure more accessible ("if she becomes that big of a slut there is no reason why she wouldn't do me") and second as the reader associates himself with the mind-breaker (although this is not necessarily the case if the mind-breaker is truly repulsive) it also gives a feeling of dominance that strokes the ego in a nice way.

Rape scenarios in general don't have to play to this "dirtying" of the pure/unobtainable character. They can just go with satisfying the dominance craving. However, just as you put it yourself, Irrsinn, the fact that the girl is "rich and/or beautiful" does actually make a difference. Therefore it is exactly this that makes degradation scenes like this a whole separate branch of the general "rape" genre. This is not a replacement of rape, but it is not simply rape either. It is just a sub-genre.

preventing ovulation is one of 3 different things it does.

Plan B - "Plan B® (levonorgestrel) may prevent pregnancy by temporarily stopping the release of an egg from a woman's ovary, or it may prevent fertilization. It may also prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus. "

Ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel prevent ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary), disrupt fertilization (joining of the egg and sperm), and inhibit implantation (attachment of a fertilized egg to the uterus)."

Preventing implantation of a fertilized zygote is basically a very very early abortion. (not that there is anything wrong with that, but let's get our facts straight).
Of course, if an egg has not yet been released then it works by preventing ovulation. and if an egg has been released but not fertilized it would prevent fertilization. Both of those methods are definitely not abortions.
