seems like theres no eng vers... i dont understand the ending... that guy all along was his brother or not? so why did they leave him behind, instead of taking him with them? they never showed any parents... so it would have been much better ending instead of separating ? i couldnt follow that well without reading it :p

If i'm right the guy is like a borther to him. The girlfriend seperate from him cause she wants to know her and like herself before seeing him one more time. She said she hate herself more than she hate the town. She want him to become a good adult and keep his smile no matter what. And the last pictures show the end of the summer. the boy is alone and tell to her girlfriend that he is taller than before.

It's a sad good end to me...

It's not his brother, it's a member of his family, probably a cousin. Their family don't accept that his cousin goes out with a woman who has already a children (the main character's girlfriend). So his cousin and the woman leave the town. The girl decides to go with her mother because she thinks she relies too much on the main character and wants to become someone as cheerful as him and stop hating herself.
I agree with the sad good end from below. It was a summer love, an experiment that helps him grow.
