Quality literature often explores the nature of human existence, perception, and morality. It begs the reader to ask himself: Is this right? Is this what I would have done? Who are we? Does our society really rely on so many assumptions?

I loved this story. Here's a man who's probably a decent, yet very lonely person. He then finds a watch that lets him rewind time, and, with such unfathomable power in his hands, he is corrupted by it, raping women on whim, unbound by any sort of societal rules. This power would be enough for this man to attain virtually anything in life - he'll never experience any financial hardship or sexual frustration - he could live a life of pure hedonism if he so chose. Yet, after encountering this girl and falling in love with her, all of this power ceases to matter to him. He gives it all up with the one wish that he could change how he treated her and that she'd come back. And in the end, she does, and (hopefully) they both find true happiness.

I am a big fan of Skiki Takuto's work. The story, artwork, and the elements, are fresh, original, and exciting.

I really would love to see more of the if series, seeing many possible story arks dealing with time reverse or time stop.

This story is just absolutely original and great, like his/her other two if stories.

Moral of the story is very similar, but different. Even with time being a game if we had the power, is there still something about life that we treasure more, than the power of time itself? If so, what would we sacrifice? The power of time, or that treasure that make us human beings?

Our main character had everything he could hope for, an ability to play with time, do what he pleases, yet because of a certain circumstance, that power feels powerless. I also love that our main character isn't the typical anti-hero, villain, antagonist protagonist, as he is showing what we usually go through as human beings. Life sucks at times, we all had to go through it. For some, it may have been only for awhile. For others, it may be a life time. Like all humans, we all seek a form of power, whether small or large, good or evil. We are corrupted with power so easily, that it only takes one important event to realize how much power can cause you to lose your senses as a human. For our main character, the heroine's confession on her last rape, show him how much blinded he became because of the watch's power to reverse time. In his final act, he made choice over the power of time and the girl he is most likely in love, and made the right decision, as a human being. Even with power, you can not buy love, and hope. Also, he isn't that bad of a person to start with. He did show friendliness to the homeless man in the beginning of the story, helping him from not being assaulted by that teenage punk, and gave him the punk's money, while taking some for his self.

Our heroine may have suffered countless rape, but judging what she said at the final rape scene, she may have been in love with the main character during either the 3rd to the current rape, so it may have been possible that she still would of accepted him, regardless of what he did wrong. Whether that is the case or not, we will truly never know. The heroine doesn't feel all that powerful, yet you can feel that vibe that she has one power over the main character, love. She also had a harsh life, with her father almost raping her(and surly he would rape her if she ever went back home), causing a trauma to not wanting to go back. Even if she never knew she was being raped by the main character, she saw in the main character's expression, possibly a feeling of friendship, whether true or not, we will also never know. Even when she was being rape at the end, her trust to the main character was already strong, that she didn't cry, nor would she complain. She open the main character's eye that were corrupted with power, and that alone, is what makes the heroine so powerful. Very few hentai stories have a heroine who can overcome the main character's darkest doings.

I'll say this is great on all points, though I have to question why he didn't keep the watch.

Sure it caused him to become quite the scumbag for a while and him throwing it away shows that he wants to move on and live a normal life, but ultimately the things he did were on him; not the watch. There's also the matter of whether or not someone will find the watch and abuse its power like he did.

Better it be in the hands of someone who doesn't have any desire to use it anymore than the hands of a criminal who may not be so redeemable.
