What I like the most about Maken-ki! is that it seems like Takeda is trying to convince people he isn't a misogynist. "Look, here's a manga about girl's who are both sexy AND tough! And the main character is a white knight! I swear, I know the doujins I draw make it SEEM like I am, but I'm not, honest!". I believe him and all, but it's still hilarious. Like guys who constantly mention they're straight.

Oh, yeah, and Aki is freaking gorgeous. Why can't women like this exist IRL!?

If being white knighted is misogynistic, then explain why women always complain IRL when no one is there to white knight them from being hit?

It's more sexist against men to force them to not fight, and yet treat them like equals to a woman they didn't get to test themselves against.
