This is one of those stories where you can feel she never wanted her 'boyfriend' in the first place and he's put there just because someone asked the author to write a cuckold story. Even when he asks her to get laid she outright refuses him, I mean come on. To the guys wondering: we lack the school teacher and also the sister-in-law story, both from Comic Megamilk.

hwilliams: he admitted on his blog the story isn't so good as he's new to the genre ( http://anchobi.blog.shinobi.jp/Entry/183/ ), I don't know if he wanted to write this but it is indeed poor. Some comic magazines do have guidelines, it's like getting Comic Unreal for down-to-earth vanilla or downloading Angel Club and cursing because you found tons of rape. lastperv: you wish, some artists start with ntr/vanilla and go on with nothing but that until the end. Waiting for ntr from Homunculus is like waiting for vanilla from mitosupa or sanbun kyoden. jetstero: he almost got enough work to fill a new book and the two works we've seen are also the only ones touching that genre. redbone: one-dimensional vanilla artists are the best because you know you don't have to expect bad things to happen and the feel-good factor is at the top, no need for drama bullshit. Keep the damn genres separate. Thankfully this looks more like what Meme50 did, merely increasing his fanbase a bit throwing a couple dark works here and there.

I love me a good NTR story... and this doesn't qualify. This is more like some teenage love triangle drama bullshit. The girl isn't being stolen away, she's obviously more inclined to be with the childhood friend. The childhood friend isn't the usual sleazy douchebag either, which of course isn't always a strict requirement for NTR, but it usually helps a lot to show that the girl is cheating. In this story she's only 'cheating' because of token background boyfriend, who generates zero empathy whatsoever.

An typical exemple of double standard. The "Absolute Authority Sisters" story from Jyaco seems to follows the same path as this work, but there is not so much people to be infuriated about it (and if the girlfriend allows his two sisters to "assist" her during "the sex events" with his boyfriend, she has never agreed about having all the ways with him). And this Coelacanth's new work is not a NTR story. Not yet, it depends how this story will end. For now, we simply have a cheating story. And I agree with mustbedreaming : this "Practice Game" story lacks a certain number of things we expect to see in a NTR story : the girlfriend/Wife being mind-broken by the typical hentai bastard guys, and of course the shocking scene of revelation, when the boyfriend, husband realizes that he has definitely lost his lover. Oh, and before I forget, I HATE NTR stories more than anything else.

I always like it when mangaka step outside their comfort zone, by experimenting with other genres they might discover hidden talents and increase their fanbase. I love ntr and I like Sanbun and still find most of his stories interesting but he's pretty one-dimensional, you always know what you'll get with him(which isn't necessarily a bad thing) so there's no surprise so when Nagare Ippon (60/40 odds of ntr) or Yuzuki N' (90/10 incest) throw out curve balls they seem a little special. even if this isn't his best as fans we should be supportive and who knows maybe by getting better at this genre he'll also improve with his vanilla.

Might as well tell people what's written in his blog. I'm only focusing on what he said about this piece. Basically, this is his first time working on an NTR story and apologizes for it not being very good as a result. Because he keeps drawing/writing the same stories over and over again, he wanted to break out into different genres. He hopes everyone will enjoy what he has to offer.

Look, I've said this once before and I'll say it again: THERE ARE WAYS OF WRITING DARK STORIES WITHOUT RESORTING TO NTR, CHEATING, ETC.ETC. When I see comments trying to justify something weak like this I can't stand for it. Look, I'm all for expanding your horizons and diversifying, but why resort to ntr and the such? Yes, compared to Homunculus, Coelacanth doesn't have varieties in his story.

Homunculus despite being kinda one dimensional, he managed to pull out interesting stories each for his vanilla oneshots. The one being his magnificent work about writing so-called non-boring vanilla is Girlfriend, where the ending unexpectedly bittersweet. Not only that, Homunculus also have pull on interesting stories before. Bird Cage with its cliffhanger story. Junpei stories with his girlfriend younger sister, which we can count it too as cheating (although in the end the sister admits that his girlfriend know that).

Coelacanth knows that his is not Homunculus or Minato Fumi that always pull interesting stories with their vanilla oneshot. Coelacanth's oneshot mostly are repetition. There are two storeclerk stories. There are some childhood friend story too. He know that and try to improve by going to other genre.

I'll keep track to Coelacanth work if its the best for him (by writing ntr or other genre)
