army: Thank you for this! I've noticed it when playing the games before, but I love the 'Tomaru is everyone's father ever' impression (at least in the earlier generations).

For Saionji and Kiyoura, are skipped generations the reason for the surname change? How is their family connection to the like-siblings-but-actually-aunt-and-niece pair revealed? [Ah, maybe in Summer Days..? I should probably investigate that!] Also, where are the pictures of all the miscellaneous Inou children on the right from?

When reading manga, I find a long story with the same characters significantly increases the total enjoyment compared to the same length of manga composed of many short unrelated chapters. Likewise, it's very enjoyable that 0verflow links its character bases together in this way. (I still remember my elated reaction when going with Youko to the city, finding out that the one she loved was Large Ponpon's protagonist (living with Rurika!), and later that that protagonist was /also/, unbeknownst to him, the father of the child in Kagura!)

*keeps reading* --Uwa, even Tomomasa is related to everyone else... or rather, so many other people are too... hm? How is it known that Touri had three of Ayumu's children rather than just one, and why isn't her first child with Tomomasa displayed..?

The Sister Princess connection is pretty much trolling/bullshit because it's property of Comic Dengeki Daioh and/or Media Works, no relation to Overflow that I know, and each sister has different mothers and are not even blood-related to the protagonist "Wataru" (anime name only, not original manga or games name).

Because of all this, I'm highly suspicious of the canonicity of that infamous Overflow family tree.

actually the sister princess connection is a bit in the air when it was rumored that Stack (we know as the parent company of Overflow deved the VNs for the sister princess game) apparently we did miss that Sister Princess had a game on the PS1 or was it PS2 which the anime didnt use as material basis, and then some employees at Stack soon made Overflow some of the said employees have worked on the Sister Princess game
