A common issue. I recommend a solution that works conveniently for other cases as well: cultivate the skill of ignoring/{blanking out}/{not reacting to} aspects that do not please you. This is particularly helpful for fictions in which multiple fetishes are combined, of which some are desired and some are disliked.

Particularly when scouring for a single held fetish which often gets combined with strongly disliked ones, it becomes almost necessary to be able to find joy in pleasant aspects while being completely unmoved for unpleasant ones.
