Yeah,i really enjoy this style as well,fairly rich in colour and a really unique style,allot of the CG stuff is a little to much the same for me. And yeah,the portal stuff is awesome! :D

I particularly like this artist's tonal palette choice as well as the decision to use that palette to make characters look "heavier" without being thicker.

Some composition issues still pop up such as the forced epic-ness of image 26 with the swordswoman standing at the edge of the cliff with her cape streaming out over the edge. First, she has put her back to the edge of the cliff and that edge is pretty close. Second, the amount of wind to cause her heavy cape to stream out is quite a bit. Third, her sail area is quite large because of her skirt. Fourth, she should be toppling backwards from her unstable stance because the wind should have put enough force on her large sail area to cause her to tilt backwards whereupon her unstable stance would have continued her backwards motion....

This artist is a great illustrator, but the faces he draws are so... out of place, i love everything about his style, but he is just so bad at drawing attractive faces.
