Well, your build opinion is based upon a straight standalone wiz, but there are a lot of gears out there now after Renewal and the game mechanics are different from the "old" days where all the cookie-cutter high wizzes pumped DEX until instacast was acquired with or without arena gearing. I had a wiz without that high-end dex until the addition of food (I had access to a ready supply from my own cooking or from the guild's dedicated chef). For situations where I ran out of food during PvE, I had a few kafra shop tickets to save time and thus I'd never run out of food items no matter how heavy. Most importantly, I had FUN as well as had fond memories, so using kafra shop items was not a problem for me especially since I wanted iRO to survive financially in order to have RO 2.
