Yeah taking alcohol increases the chances of alcohol poisoning by a lot. There was an article I read where a medical student was at a party and tried drink beer through his ass because it would get him drink faster. This killed him as he got alcohol poisoning extremely fast. Normal consumption of alcoholic drinks end up detoxified by your liver so only small amounts of alcohol gets in your blood and takes longer to get you drunk. How good your liver is determines your tolerance for alcohol. taking "up your ass" gets all the alcohol absorbed by your large intestines that absorbs water and allows it to enter you body quicker.
